Our elementary program is designed to build a strong foundation in the basic skills of Bible, reading, spelling, mathematics, science, social studies, penmanship and oral and written language. In addition, instruction is given in art, library, music theory and choral music and physical education. Piano, Voice, guitar and stringed instrument lessons are also available. Two annual concerts feature the elementary band and choir.

Biblical principles are integrated into each and every subject.  Children are taught to read so they can grow in God's wisdom according to His Word. Science is taught from the point of view of God the Creator and history is told from the point of view of God's impact on His world. Teachers receive training in this skill through Christian school teacher conventions, workshops and personal Bible study. Godly role modeling by Christian teachers is among the most significant positive influences on young lives.

At Faith Heritage, you'll find our elementary program offers a structured program for children in a developmentally appropriate environment. Here they can learn basic academics while being taught about God. Children are drawn into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and are instructed and grounded in their faith.

FHS Elementary Kids

The Faith Heritage PreK program is accredited through ACSI. According to the New York State definition of Legally-Exempt child care found in NYCRR 415.1, the Faith Heritage PreK program is exempt from the NYS program licensing requirements.  However, we are committed to ongoing self-monitoring and strive to maintain the highest standards possible.
