1. We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, and that it is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father where He is now interceding for us as High Priest and Advocate, and we expect His promised personal return soon for His Church.
4. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, according to the Scripture; and that all who truly repent of their sins and believe in Him are justified by the vicarious merit of His shed blood.
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live in fruitful obedience to God's laws.
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved into everlasting joy in Heaven with Christ; the lost into everlasting conscious torment in Hell with Satan.
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
FHS History and Value
Introduction to Parents A basic responsibility of Christian parents is to “train up a child in the way he should go...” that, “when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Faith Heritage is a school that is seeking to mold your children’s lives after God’s fashion. Successful Christian living hinges on three areas: the home, the church, and the school. These institutions must work cooperatively together. Parents should not give their responsibility to the Christian school and let them train the child alone. Both the home and the school share this responsibility. Therefore, we pledge to you to “present Jesus Christ and the highest quality education possible” and we ask you to pledge to do your part.
Established in 1972 under the leadership of Mr. Robert Wilmot, Faith Heritage School began with 85 students and has shown continual growth to its present population of over 400 students. There exists a staff of men and women dedicated totally to the Biblical training of boys and girls.
Faith Heritage School is a nondenominational Christian School with a conservative Bible orientation. Teachers pledge to uphold the deity of Christ and the inspiration of the Old and New Testaments. They do not promote minor issues which tend to divide the body of believers.
A Christian education is, however, more than a good academic education taught by Christian teachers with Bible, chapel, etc., added to the schedule. In every subject (history, science, mathematics, English, etc.), the instructors integrate God’s Word. This is done because we recognize that God’s Word is truth (John 17:17).
