Driver Education
Driver Education is a one semester course with one half unit of regents
credit. The course is divided into lecture and discussion classes and driving labs. The goal of
both our class and lab is to learn to extend our Christian testimony into our driving by our
attitudes as we interact with other highway users. We discuss the biblical perspective on alcohol
and how it relates to driving. All of the above is interwoven with defensive driving techniques
that will help the students become safer drivers as they gain hands-on experience driving on a
variety of roads and in differing traffic situations.
